Ingredients

Wings

  • 1.2 kg chicken wings, either whole, or cut into wingettes and drumettes

  • 1/2 cup Remedy Kitchen Superb Seasoning Mix + 2 tablespoons (tbs) for extra basting

  • 1/2 cup EVOO + 5 tablespoons extra for the basting paste.

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 teaspoon of chilli flakes (optional) or 1/2 teaspoon of Cayenne pepper

Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon shallots, finely chopped lime wedges

Ranch Dressing

  • 1/2 cup sour cream or greek yoghurt

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise 

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar

  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon dill, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon chives, finely diced

  • 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper


Method


Heat oven to 180 degrees fan forced. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. In a large mixing bowl add the chicken, toss well in the seasoning mix, drizzle with EVOO and coat the chicken evenly. In a small bowl add 2 tbs of the Superb Seasoning Mix and 5 tbs of EVOO, mix and set aside. Spread the wings out on the tray, skin-side up. Cook for 30 minutes, remove tray from the oven and baste generously with the extra seasoning mix. Return to the over for another 15 minutes. 

While hot, drizzle over the honey, plate up with your ranch dressing, garnish with fresh shallots, parsley and enjoy! X
