Cherry… Cherry Baby!

Cherries are the ultimate summer celebration when it comes to fruit! Paired with Remedy kitchen oats and the scrumptious yet a little decadent vanilla bean seeds, this dish will help you feel like it’s Christmas everyday.

Ingredients — Serves 2

PORRIDGE

  • 1 cup Remedy Kitchen Milled Oat Porridge

  • 2 cups milk of your choice, I use almond

  • 1 tablespoon coconut yoghurt

TOPPINGS

  • 1 cup cherries, wash, cut in half and de-pit

  • 1/4 cup pecans

  • 1/4 cup granola for a little crunch

  • 2 tablespoons vanilla coconut yoghurt

  • 1 vanilla bean pod, slice in half and scrape out the seeds

  • 2 tablespoons freeze dried broken raspberries from

  • a few mint leaves


Method

Step 1

In a small saucepan combine the MOP oats and milk. Stir on a medium to low heat until the porridge thickens to your desired consistency. Turn heat off, stir in yoghurt.

Step 2

Top with granola, cherries, pecans, vanilla coconut yoghurt, vanilla bean, freeze dried broken raspberries and a few mint leaves!
